The designers of the models on display are from the USA, Japan, Uruguay, Vietnam, Croatia, Argentina, England, Spain, France, and South Africa. Troy has also designed his own models. The time taken to create these models ranges from 5 minutes to 15 hours.

Troy is a native of Gleason and graduated from Merrill High School and then Purdue University. He is currently an engineer and lives in Merrill with his family and pets. Troy admits that he suffers from OOCD (Origami Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.)
